thentheskydrops:Mary Bell - child serial killer
When she was 10, Mary Bell strangled a 4 year old boy named Martin Brown. When she was 11, she, along with a 13 year old friend killed another boy, this time a 3 year old named Brian Howe. They strangled him, and Mary carved an “M” into his stomach, cut off his hair, and mutilated his genitals.
She was convicted shortly afterwards and served 12 years in prison, eventually she was released and granted permission to start life under a new name. She blamed her behavior on extensive sexual abuse by her mother.
She is currently 52 years old, has a daughter and a grandchild, and lives somewhere in England.
“Brian Howe had no mother, so he wont be missed.” - Mary Bell
You know, a thousand years ago, there was no such thing as ADD. There was no bipolarism, no personality disorders. They didn’t exist. You could argue that we “discovered” them, but you could also argue that we made them.
Materialized through concecptualism.
I know that we’re all more sociopathic than we were a thousand years ago, but that’s because of greed and competition and the general degradation of man, caused to each other by one another.
“Man’s inhumanity to man.”
Everything has to be something in this society. We have to label it, define it, market it and profit off of it. We’ve lost the ability to be awed by our world. Taking something at face value only applies to concept. A tree is not a concept, a radiant sunset is not a concept. And yet, we’re not awed by these things anymore because we allegedly know how they work. It’s all about the how and never about the why. Why has taken a back seat to psuedo, un-applied knowledge. Bunch of hypocondriacs trying to find that perfect panacea for their own particular ailment.
That’s what individuality’s boiled down to: how unique is your disease?
I think Chuck Palahniuk said it best when he said, “We are the middle children of history. We have no great war, no great depression. Our great war is a spiritual one. Our depression is our lives.” (This isn’t verbatim, that’s just off the top of my head so please forgive any inconsistencies with what was actually said.)
In the 60’s, people did drugs to free their minds. They did it to escape this reality to form their own. They did it to oppose the norms and fight The Man. This generation does drugs because were fucking bored. We do it because we’re escapists and we become dependent on that escape, whatever that may be.
People either believe in nothing or they believe to an point of extremism. Either side of the spectrum can close your mind because that’s not the way the world works. Nothing is black or white, every coin has two sides, life is a double edged sword.
I think you get the point.
But nobody seems to want to consider the options of what can and cannot be. No one wants to discern for themselves the nature of this reality. Instead we choose to relish in the prosperity of others. We perpetuate joyfully a system of total corruption as we trudge ever closer to that wonderful world of fascism. We allow the corporations to steal our money and give us inferior goods because of a profitable brand name.
I think we should start branding children with a corporate logo when they come out of the womb, that way at least we wouldn’t be lying to ourselves on the dependency we’ve grown. It’s like a fucking tumor.
And don’t think for a minute that a Democrat would hesitate to take a shit in your mouth any faster than a Republican. They both want you complacent and ignorant. And we’ve gotten to a point where the preach the Constitution as a farse so they can manipulate it later. They can blur the lines all they like. Our right to protest is now our right to be brutalized. Our right to free speech is a one way ticket to Bullet-in-the-headville. Just ask Dr. King.
There are so few Americans left. Everyone else is just a product of this falsified “American Dream”. Get rich! Be happy! Dissent is terrorism!
Well, ladies and gentlemen, we’re fucked and that’s all there is to it. We’re following the pattern of ancient Rome so closely it’s scary. If you don’t think we could become a fascist nation very quickly, look again. The man of the millenium is Hitler, ladies and gentleman, for he taught us the ardous path of stripping rights.
The powers that be have time to be patient, we only have so long to fight them.Rip the system, question your world.
Oh how I wish I could be as quirky and edgy as you.
“We allow the corporations to steal our money and give us inferior goods because of a profitable brand name.”
It was good up to here, after that you sound like a god damn hippie :)
